As a director, writer and filmmaker, Vince McMillan brings his cinematic sensibility and unique brand of relatable, offbeat humour to all his work. Having directed commercial spots for clients such as Air New Zealand, BCITO, Spark and Z Energy, he brings a fresh, experienced and comedic lens to every project, with a particular knack for character-driven storytelling. 

Vince is best known for his award-winning television series KURA which explores the lives of young Māori in contemporary Aotearoa. With humour, heart and quintessential Kiwi characters, KURA has made an impressive impact on the New Zealand media landscape, garnering millions of streams from a dedicated fanbase.
